Hello all!

The Preview Event has just started.

Now, to the point of this thread. It's not just to start talking about all the stuff because there's so much new stuff and OMG it's so amazing...

It's actually because...

It's a weekday. Loads of people are going to work and school etc. (the sensible ones who aren't taking the day off just to play a game - besides, I have exams)

So...people that do skive off school, take that day off work, or live in some location in the world that they will have a load of time now to play it...flood in the information and screenshots and all that! When us guys get home from school and work (especially me, I'll be trying to look forward as much as possible to getting home so as to get through my exams today), we want to see all this information flooded into a single thread so that as we have missed the start, we will at least know all about it when the time comes for us to join the play.

Is anyone else not able to make a Factions character even though they have the preorder and supposedly access to this event?

I have ended up making a second preview account...but I'm kind of pissed right now that my main account isn't allowing me to make a Factions character.

Nevermind...I only had to log in and out like fifteen times...

Found a bug with the assassin's skill 'Death Charge'
Was targeting a monster below a platform I'm on, Skill activated and i got stuck in the middle of it, tried to use 'Death Charge' on another monster, didn't work, still stuck.

Here are all the skills you can get starting a new PvE character. You get 20 on creation and another 20 by talking to an NPC, Senji the Profession Changer, and picking a secondary. You can change secondaries all you want, and when you change you'll be given some equipment appropriate to your choice. Each profession has the same 20 skills no matter whether you're a primary or a secondary and the "Core" profession have mostly core skills with a few new Factions skills. Also, each profession gets 3 elites all of which are from Factions except for the Mesmer which gets 4 with the extra one being Energy Surge.

Core skills marked with an *. Also, some skills like Bestial Fury or Silverwing Slash seem to be just renamed versions of existing skills.

I agree; the new Mesmer armor is sweet!

I'm surprised at how many people are other classes. Of course, it helps that the old classes have a new spin on them. Anyone checking out the other armor through the PvP character creator? We've got some sweet goodies!

I've already taken piles of screenshots and I've hardly played. :: giggle ::

I did create a Ritualist as well; I'd always thought that playing an assassin would be cool, but the Ritualists looked so NEAT.

I'd post some screens but they're all kind of nasty size to post to my webspace, I'll try to clean them up tomorrow.

Recurring Insecurity {E}: Cost 10, Cast 1, Recharge 20, -3 Health degeneration, is renewed when another hex is cast on the target
Shared Burden {E}: Cost 15, Cast 1, Recharge 20, for ~14 seconds target foe and all nearby foes are slowed by 50%.

INSPIRATION
Ether Signet: Cast 2, Recharge 90(!), If your energy is below 9, you gain 18 energy.
